Our refund policy, invoices, license transfers, and what to do after purchase.

Refunds & Post-Purchase

All sales are final. Because Create UI is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase, including access to the Figma system and code library, we do not offer refunds once access has been granted. We strongly recommend exploring the free code library and previewing the Figma system before purchasing. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve it. Refunds are not issued for change of mind, unmet feature expectations, or unused licenses.

What is your refund policy?

Contact us at support@createui.co or via Discord. We respond within 24 hours on standard plans, and within 12 hours on the Team plans. If you didn't receive your confirmation email, check spam first, then reach out with your order email and we'll restore access manually.

What if I have an issue after purchase?

Yes. A receipt is automatically emailed to you immediately after purchase. Your order is processed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record, so applicable taxes (such as VAT) are calculated and included automatically. You can download a full invoice and add your company name, VAT number, or other billing details directly from the order confirmation email or the customer portal link it contains. If you need help locating it, email support@createui.co with your order email and we'll point you to it.

Can I get an invoice or tax document?

License transfers are permitted in limited circumstances, for example, moving from a personal to a company account. Contact support@createui.co to request a transfer. Transfers to third parties for resale are not permitted under any circumstances.

Reach us via Email at support@createui.co or through our Discord community. Discord is the fastest channel, it's where we're most active, and community members often help too. Email is monitored daily: 24h response on individual plans, 12h on Teams. We don't offer phone or live chat support at this time.

Where can I get help?

Yes, and we actively want this. Submit requests via our public Roadmap or Discord. We prioritize based on what paying customers ask for most. If something is urgent for your project, let us know, it may already be in progress.

Can I request a feature or component?

What's free, what's coming, and how new components get prioritized.

Updates & Roadmap

Updates to your purchased product, including new components, variants, token improvements, and bug fixes, are free. Create UI may release additional products, platform systems, or feature sets (such as integrations, AI tools, or new platform-specific design systems) that are priced separately. These are distinct from the product you purchased and are not included unless stated otherwise.

Will I be charged for future updates?

New components and improvements are released with each version update. You can follow the public Changelog and Roadmap to see what's shipping next. Component requests from the community directly influence the priority queue, submit yours via Discord or email.

How often are new components added?

License & Commercial Use

Yes, commercial use is included in all paid plans. You can use Create UI in client work, commercial products, SaaS applications, and internal tools. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the components, Figma files, or any Create UI assets as a standalone product or design system kit. Building with Create UI is permitted; reselling Create UI as your own system is not.

Can I use Create UI in commercial projects?

Yes. A single individual license covers your use across client projects, provided you, not the client, are operating the license. The client receives the finished product, not access to Create UI itself. If your client wants to independently use the Figma system or code library, they need their own license.

Can I use it for client projects as a freelancer or agency?

No. Your license does not expire and access to your purchased product does not end. You will always be able to use the version you bought. Updates are provided for the purchased product, new and separate Create UI products (such as additional platform systems or AI-powered tools) are not included by default and may be offered as separate purchases or subscriptions.

Technical

The library is built with React, Tailwind CSS, and Radix UI primitives. It works with any React-based framework, Next.js. TypeScript is supported. We recommend Tailwind CSS v4+ for full compatibility.

What stack does the React code library require?

Yes. Components are designed to drop into existing projects. Install via npm. If your project already uses Tailwind CSS and React, most components work out of the box. Custom token or design system setups may require light configuration to align spacing and color scales.

Can I integrate it into an existing project?

You can open and explore the design system with a free Figma account, including all components, tokens, and styles. However, Create UI uses multiple variable modes for light/dark themes and theme variations, and Figma's free plan only supports a single mode per variable collection. To switch between light, dark, and other theme modes, you'll need a Figma Professional plan or higher. If you only work in a single mode, the free plan is enough to get started.

What Figma account do I need?

Tokens are defined in Figma as variables and mirrored in the code library as Tailwind config values and CSS custom properties, both are kept in parity. Full automated sync (via Token Studio or Style Dictionary) is on the roadmap. Currently, tokens are updated manually with each release to ensure accuracy.

Are design tokens truly synced between Figma and code?

The Pro Code Library ships with v1.0. Pre-sale customers on the Code or Complete plan get automatic access at launch, no additional payment required. Progress is tracked on our public Roadmap, and pre-sale buyers are notified by email the moment it's live.

Pricing & Purchase

Pre-sale pricing is part of our early access period and is the lowest price Create UI will ever be offered at. As we add more components, blocks, and templates, the price gradually increases toward the full v1.0 rate. The earlier you buy, the more you save, and your price is locked in permanently. Existing customers are never charged again, even as prices rise.

When does the pre-sale price end?

Your current plan is a one-time payment with endless updates, no subscriptions, no recurring charges for what you buy today. Some future Create UI products (such as AI-powered features) may be offered as optional add-on subscriptions, but these are entirely separate and will never affect your existing purchase. What you buy now, you own permanently.


Is this a one-time payment or a subscription?

After purchase, you'll receive an email with access instructions within a few minutes. The Figma design system is shared as a Figma Community file and local copy, you duplicate it into your workspace. The React component library is available via npm. If you don't receive access within 15 minutes, check your spam folder or contact us at support@createui.co.

How do I access my files after purchase?

Individual plans cover a single user. If you're a team, each member who actively uses the Figma system or code library needs their own license, or contact us about a Teams or Enterprise plan for volume pricing. Freelancers using Create UI across client projects can use a single individual license, as long as you are the one building with it.

Product & General

The Design plan includes the full Figma design system: all components, tokens, variables, and styles. The Code plan includes the installable React component library, built with React, Tailwind CSS, and Radix UI. The Complete plan includes both and is priced lower than buying them separately, making it the best value, and the recommended option for teams and anyone working across design and development.


What's the difference between the Design, Code, and Complete plans?

No, not if you're using the Design plan. The Figma design system requires no code at all. The Code plan and React library are for developers who want to ship the components in a real project. The Complete plan covers both workflows.

Do I need to know how to code to use Create UI?

Create UI is a unified design and code system, a Figma design system and a React component library built to work together. It gives designers ready-to-use components, tokens, and styles in Figma, and gives developers the same components as installable React code. The goal: eliminate the gap between design and production so your team ships faster and stays consistent.

What exactly is Create UI?

Both. If you're a designer, the Design plan gives you everything you need in Figma, no code required. If you're a developer, the Code plan gives you the React library independently, no Figma needed. Many solo builders and indie hackers go with Complete because they do both.

Can I use this as a designer only, or as a developer only?

The free version includes a selection of core React components, enough to evaluate the system and start building. It does not include the full Figma design system, the complete component library, design tokens, advanced variants, or Pro patterns. If you're building a real product and need the full system, all 40+ components, 12,000+ variants, and the Figma kit, you'll need a paid plan.
